CONTENT BUSINESS

We have been involved in various co-projection projects for Hallyu dramas, including the Sungkyunkwan Scandal that was one of the first-generation dramas that lit the fire for the K-drama craze.

Working with leading directors and writers, we present a new vision for global cultural content in many different genres and subjects.

We have produced dramas in many different genres including historical, situation comedy, and romantic dramas in cooperation with broadcasting stations such as KBS, SBS, TVN, and JTBC. We are also discussing a number of original series with emerging OTT channels.

Expanding filmmaking business  Advancing into CG/VFX business:

The C-JeS ENT Filmmaking HQ is investing aggressively in filmmaking and has hired many professionals since 2019.

In 2021, we are working with many talented directors in various projects, including the Emergency Declaration directed by Han Jae-rim and Citizen Deok-hee starring Ra Mi-ran. We at C-JeS aim to firmly position ourselves as a leading planner, investor, and producer in the Korean filmmaking industry.

KBS Drama take place around the globe throughout the year which provides a great networking opportunity for C-JeS Entertainment and Jae-Wook supporters & association worldwide showcasing the current projects each year in major film festivals.

The establishment of the filmmaking Division in 2019 marked the first step that we at C-JeS took to grow as a total entertainment company advancing into media content industries based on our achievements in management business and this was also a strategic move to unfold our multifaceted capabilities in the global markets.

We attracted workforce with decades of experience in the Korean filmmaking scene as sources of inspiration and networks to plan and produce outstanding films. In response to the major changes in media platforms, we are also focusing on expanding our content domain from the cinema to OTT and mobile platforms.

KBS DRAMA

The C-JeS ENT Production Division pays active roles in Korea’s drama and movie planning, investment, production, and international copyright business. We at C-JeS started drama production projects with the SBS drama series Sungkyunkwan Scandal in 2009, and ever since we have developed a rich content portfolio.

Established in 2019, the production division has a pool of well-qualified professionals and infrastructure. Currently the division anticipates 5-6 films to be released, where it played producer or investor roles.
